Winter is here, and while we enjoy the season, it’s also a time when opportunistic crime can increase. Here are some easy ways to keep your home and vehicle safe:

Home Safety Tips

✅ Lock doors and windows – even when you’re at home.
✅ Leave a light on or use a timer when you’re out to make your home look occupied.
✅ Secure sheds and garages – tools can be used to break into homes.
✅ Keep valuables out of sight from windows.

Vehicle Safety Tips

✅ Never leave your car running unattended while defrosting – thieves take advantage of this.
✅ Remove valuables or keep them hidden.
✅ Double-check your locks every time you leave your car.
✅ Park in well-lit areas whenever possible.
